Nope that's not true monkey because they were always instant before. You can verify via skill monitor bar when they fix the delay up. The skill should start up the instant pressed. I'm not assuming character is buffering skill one after another.

The only thing I notice not affected at all is the arrow moment keys, no delay here.

Treat the 1/4 activation skills as a camera shutter since it's speed is about that quick. Would a camera have a delay when you press the button to take the picture? Should be instant. Disregarding the auto focus and red-eye reduction in this.

yep, have the delay (and the sound issue too

)....thought it was just me, but cry of frustration shouldnt take 2 seconds to activate (and should be able to catch a spell that takes 5)......its hopeless to play my mesmer right now....
this reminds me of the days before I got my new computer, playing on my laptop with my 2-7 second delays.....BAD memories

with the latest update, ALL my sound issues are fixed and my skill activation delay is gone.

From talks with ANet support, they are investigating the issue now. It probably affected in certain regions based number of complaints vs. players.

My lag is gone too.
Seems really a regional problem and I suspect mine was nothing more than a global ISP problem (since all my guilid mates complained about it)
